10,000 Hits!
Although in the world of blogs mine is still a baby, I’m pretty excited about it. 10,000 hits! It’s been online for over a year now (started in June 2008) and I’ve really enjoyed blogging about all things beauty.
My intent at the beginning was to do a budget friendly beauty blog for Canadians, as there’s so much out there that we just can’t get here in Canada. (It’s so disappointing to read about a great new mascara or body butter and then realize that it’s not available in Canada.) But as it turns out I have a much more global group of readers (US, Europe, and Asia for the most part) which I never thought I’d have, but is very cool.
Just wanted to say thanks to all of my readers and to another 10,000!

What?!?!
A new post from me? Impossible!
Haha, so I know I’m definitely not the most reliable person when it comes to blogging, but here I am again. It must drive some of you readers crazy.
Anyways, I have a couple posts in the works for this week so look forward to some more beauty reading.

I have to apologize ladies, for not being around since August. As my last post said, I was sick, and have been since then. After 2 months, 3 visits to the doctor, 2 prescriptions, and some blood work, I’m still not feeling 100%. I am feeling better though, so on with the beauty reviews.
I’ve used lots of products since I’ve last posted, so expect LOTS of reviews, as well as how to come up with some great fall looks. Well, that’s all for now, I have some serious turkey eating to get started. Happy Thanksgiving!

I’m sick
Sorry about the lack of posts over the last weekend. I had a sore throat turn into a massive ear infection and so I’ve been trying to take it easy. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a couple posts up this week. And of course it happens over the last long weekend of the summer.

Intro
I’ve decided to start a beauty blog. I love everything that has to do with makeup, beauty, fashion, and trends, so I figured why not blog about it? I have another blog about a different subject that I’ve had going for a few months now and I’ve found it to be easier that I thought it would be.
I think I’ll mainly be blogging about drugstore beauty finds rather than department store brands because at the moment that’s what I can afford. I also like to shop at Sephora, although I spend more money at drugstores. My blog will also be Canadian based. It’s frustrating to be looking through an Instyle or Marie Claire and find out that the shade of lip gloss or cute bag isn’t available in Canada. So the products I blog about will be available north of the border.
I plan on doing reviews of different products that I use, pointing out great sales each week, coupons, the latest trends, free samples, tips and tricks, and interesting posts from other blogs. If you have any other suggestions for posts or products that you’d like me to do a review of or any feedback, let me know via email or comments.
